I put my Prices up last July when things increased like fuel, products etc.. I have no plans to do this so far this year as I think my prices are right for now, but if things increase again then I will have to, but just by the odd 50p or £1.

I increased my prices last summer on some treatments, only by a £1 or so and everything under £10 like eyebrow shapes I left as it was.

I had been there a year and a half so was due and increase but really I did it due to the fact I started taking card payments so needed to cover the costs, although tbh £1 extra doesn't cover it but my retail sales increased so it worked out rather well.

I am not planning on increasing my prices this year at all unless the salon where I rent refurbish the room, new units etc

I think most people expect an increase at least once a year but not twice, it can make it awkward when clients come back for next appointment as inevitably not all get to hear there is an increase so if something has gone up a few pounds they usually have a moan !

I am overdue a price revision. I just did a swoop on local salon pricelists only to discover them charging around £10 more for a full leg wax.

During my last revision, I increased by 50p-£3.

My suppliers have stuffed up their prices recenlty so time to pass on costs. I am also moving out of my rented room & opening my own salon so will have more overheads.

Ill need to check...but im sure its recommend to increase your prices by 3% per year x

Unfortunatley the only thing that happens with our prices is that they keep comming down :eek::eek:

Still...nice to see so many happy customers

I have just had to put up my prices, mainly for the tan cabs. I found that if i told people that the price was due to go up, if they booked now they would get it at the curent price, for that one treatemnt. Also the tan cab packages i found if i told customers they seem to feel priveleged(however u spell it!) that id 'let them in' on the info. People dont mind so much if its only a pound or so. Especially if your explain that all your cost have gone up and you have kept themdown for as long as you could. x

I think an annual price increase is very fair

I generally increase my prices once a year usually in about march, but im gonna hold off this year what with everyones finacial situation. Im about the most expensive in my area so i don't want to push my luck.

I do tend to put my prices up each year. Not a year has gone by when my suppliers havent made a price increase, so you dont want to be doing the same job, a year on, for less money!
I dont always increase price on every treatment, my waxing has remained the same for 3 years! I dont increase by loads, (maybe 50p-£2)but I do increase every year. I always run an offer of the month, and am still VERY competetive price wise, so my clients say that they know that they get value for money.
