I've been featured in the local newspaper's "Out and About" magazine and I want to make the most of it. How would I go about maximising its potential?
I guess I can scan it and put it on my website, and put the article on the wall in the salon, but what else?
Anyone got any ideas?!

I suppose you could put on any flyers or ads you do "As seen in 'Out & About' magazine"?

Can you get a few copies and put them in your salon for people to take home with them so they can show friends n family?

Can you send a copy of the article to the actual newspaper and see if they will duplicate it in the actual paper?

Just a few ideas hun.

And well done on the article, can we take a look?

xx

Well Done you!
I would enlage and frame, and as suggested send it to as many local papers and magazines as possible. You should also use it alongside your diploma's to do a 'talk' on the local radio or when you do charity work/networking evenings.
Oh oh and send an e-flyer out and have it as a link to website :)

I would include it in your newsletter as well. Let everyone know how good you are!

Lynne, that's great! Well done hun :green:

Brilliant, I hope you get loads more business.

Hi Lynne,

FABULOUS! well done.

How about a "As seen in 'Out & About' magazine" promotion featuring the facial described?

have a A5 brochure/leaflet thing done up? include the ad in your design....

I am sitting here thinking I myself have not had a facial since I became a beauty therapist and after reading this, I want to try your facial! It's such a positive article so i hope you get alot more business!

Lynne, can Iask, how did you get the review? Do you have to pay?
Thanks

When I opened my salon I emailed the woman's editor of the local paper and offered her a complimentary facial so she could see what I had to offer. I never heard a thing for months and then out of the blue they called and said they were sending a reporter round to do a feature on me for Mother's Day. I paid nothing apart from the facial, but the reporter was so impressed with it that she bought product and booked in again!

How fabulous, well done, I dont think it could of went much better than that, I wish I was near you I would be booking right now!
