It is quite subtle but I am totally in love with this mani. I keep thinking that would be beautiful done on a off-white base with a champagne metalic stamp, very bridal.

Just read the whole thread (15 pages!) lol and I now want to get some monad stamps more than ever. Where is the best place to get them from? X

Evaperk - gorgeous as ever!

Stephiebaby - I got my starter kit from Bry T a fellow geek on this thread. Go to her website and have a look. They came really quickly but, be warned, once you start you'll be hooked!

Thanks redduck! That's what I'm hoping for lol! I'm terrible at free hand nail art so these will hopefully solve my problem.

Has anyone used konad stamps on Rockstar nails? Would you do rockstars as normal (base, cure, colour, cure, glitter, top coat, cure, top coat cure) then do stamp and another top coat (so 3 top coats in total) or could you add the konad in between the 2 top coats?

This is so delicate and pretty, I love the colors together!

How did you find the full nail design, easier than you imagined?

thank you. I like the colour combo as well. So much easier do it on short nails! Still had a feww issues though. Found it difficult to get right to the edge, on the side walls and the free edge. In this pic its obvious on the thumb that I haven't got right into the side wall. That's why I went for the light colours hopefully no one will really notice that there not perfect.

I did these recently

The base colour is normal polish, an Italian brand, Kiko #317. The design is stamped in China Glaze: Joy from the Romantique collection and the design is from the second set of Bundle Monster plates, BM 221.

Question. I purchased a Konad stamper. And 25 plates! I ordered Konad special nail polish, also, so no problems there.

Here's my issue, I polish over the image, and when I "scrape" the excess polish off, it streaks. It doesn't come off clean. So, I scrape again to remove it completely. And by this time, my polish has almost dried and the whole image doesn't come off onto the stamp. And by the time I transfer to the nail, the polish is nearly completely dried and I either get NO art, or half the art.

Any tricks or ideas??

Do not worry about getting a perfectly clean scrape. The only two moments in the stamping process where you have to be precise and methodical are in checking the design on the stamper and then stamping the design onto the nail.

Splodge your polish into the plate and then in one confidant movement, keeping your scraper (plastic is better) at around a 20-35 degree angle, scrape the excess polish off. If there are a few light streaks it doesn't really matter. Touch the stamper to the plate and see what you got.

Oh and don't forget the thinner the details in the design the quicker the design will dry on the plate and there for be difficult to get to transfer. If you are having problems try a different design and things may suddenly get better.

I've just had Orly GelFX demo with Oh Cabana Boy which is a little bright to I've tried to tame it down with a silver stamp, it's not worked lol!
