I bought the bottle but now wish I'd bought the pot. Will buy the pot when the bottle runs out. It can be tricky getting the product out of the bottle.

My initial thought was the bottle, its what I'm used too but then having read the thread (nothing else to do!!!) I decided to go for the pot as I guessed it would be easier to get it out.

Ooooh I can't wait to get this for my birthday!

I've got to get some new polishes and fill the gaps I think Shellac is missing so this product is great!

I'm going to get some nice China Glaze polishes, use some of my old cnd colors and effects and get some Vinylux in the newer shellac shades I haven't got.

Im looking at China Glaze and notice they have some nice colours that have a glitter effect- has anyone tried mixing a colour with a glitter effect with Megamix and how did it come out ok?

OMG how on earth did I miss this entire thread that's been going on for weeks - need a slap!

I asked the question earlier today how I could make Gilded Pleasure out of Shellac/additives and thanks to The Real Mrs Grey, I've hopefully found the answer.

I've read the full thread now and am off to buy a bottle/pot.

I did this with Vinylux Gilded Pleasure on a colour pop. It worked perfectly!

Hello to you :))) fabulous idea, I'm very excited over this, been looking at all the vinylux colours that aren't In the shellac colour collection and can not wait to mix it, is there a group set up for mega mixers that we can share our mixes, pictures and ask for advice?? Had a look in the groups but couldn't see one :)

I second that idea, would be great to have a group - but not sure how to start one, or even if I could.

Have just received mine, can't wait to play with mine tomorrow

Has anyone tried mixing colour and additives at the same time with Megamix, or just mixing additives into the clear gel and then layering over Shellac ie; like doing neons. I'm always worried when using additives that I won't have sealed them properly and they'll wipe off at the end ruining everything.

I thought this could take the hit or miss aspect out of additives for me.

Ok I guess not lol

will we be getting this in Australia?

Sorry for the late reply, I am in negotiations with an Australian distributor at the moment and would love for my product to be world wide, however it's not just as easy as that. The major factor that I have come up against when sending the product abroad is the postal regulations and the cost involved in overcoming those regulation, the expense ( which has to be forwarded to you the customer) makes the product cost prohibitive. So again sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I am working on it :)

you can mix anything in so while i have not tried the exact things you are talking about I'm 99% sure they will work, and yes it will take the hit and miss out of your usual application because all the colour and the additives will all be sealed in :)

Try it and let me know how you get on :)

I have said this earlier but when you apply something to the tacky layer ( glitter or additive or pigment) it then makes the layer dry ( no longer sticky) so then it is hard for the next layer of gel to stick.

whenever you layer products you need to leave a gap or ensure the product you are putting over sticks to the product you put on before ( that's only logical)

lace for example works because the gel can penetrate through he gaps, a solid surface like a minx etc is less successful which is why you need to leave a gap around the perimeter, same rules apply whit glitter and additives :)
