I can't wait to try this with my favourite polish colours, it feels likes it's opened up a whole world that had been left behind on the shelf so to speak!

There is a lot of debate as to which is best pot or bottle and to be honest for the price I would buy both, that way you can decide for yourself. It is the same great product in each and you are getting the same exact 15ml but there are advantages and disadvantages to both.

The bottle while it is slightly harder to get the product out for mixing is fab because it has the brush and if you want to turn your regular gel polish into a power gel polish simply brushing a coat of megamix on after the base coat before your shellac or gelish or after your colour before your top coat, will give you a boost of strength and the bottle and brush make this super quick simple and easy, if you prefer to sprinkle your glitter and then apply clear gel then the bottle and brush is good for that too.

The pot is best for if you want to scoop out and mix, however it can get a little more messy, I hate when pots get sticky and by the time you get to the bottom ( unless you work super clean) there are always particles of glitter, and debris ( maybe i'm just messy) and the benefit is when you have finished the pot you have a pot for keeping your favorite pre mixed glitter in.

Either way it's up to you the product is exactly the same great mixing gel

this is 3weeks with megamix and nails inc. still perfect not even wearing at the ends yet. lets see if they can make it 4 weeks!! :)

Thanks for that ( I think it is a good thing !) just so long as my honesty does not get me into trouble !!!

I have a great product and I want everyone to love it and try it and experience it for themselves, and i want it to work but I'm not going to use any smoke an mirrors and tricks to do that, it is great and it does work.

I like you all am first and foremost a nail tec I have tried every product available on the market and I too hate when something says it will do something and it doesn't, because all that happens then is you are frustrated, clients are frustrated and it's just a waste of your time and efforts and energy.

I have a very methodical thought process and I think that helps when you are doing nails.

I have over 20 years experience and some of the people on here do not have the benefit of that knowledge and experience so if i can help them in any way i can than that is great and if they want to buy and use my product then that's great too.

They may not be in the market for megamix today and may be having a problem with the gel system they are using and if i can help with that, that's great, because one day when they fancy a change they may remember that little piece of advice and think he knew what he was talking about I may give him a go.

If I can help by sharing the benefit of my knowledge and experience and change for the better just one nail tecs problems and frustrations then the time and effort is well spent and worthwhile :)

me too !! :) sounds amazing !!! I disappear off Salon Geek for a week or so and this is what I miss !!

I did my first client today with mega mix and Barry M gelly polish, she loved the colour, went on well, whilst slightly thick didn't cause problems with application, if anything it was better than some of the watery gelish colours that i have *cough* need a tan *cough*!

This client comes every 2 weeks so cant wait to see her when she comes back and it will be good to see what removal is like.

Martin: I'm worried about getting the ratio correct, what happens if there is a littel too much polish OR a little too much gel?

Which brushes are you using to apply the custom blends? Thanks

Brand / size?

I've got some lovely colours in a hard gel and wondered if I could maybe sandwich the hard gel inbetween the megamix and if so would it soak off?

I like the bottle as I wait for a drop then do the same for the polish and it's usually a good mix that way x

Again this is not something I. Have tried but there is no reason why it shouldn't work, apply amazin base (1 or 2 coats) then your coloured hard gels and see how you go.

It won't make your hard gel soak off but if you break the seal and enable the soak off solution to penetrate the base layer that will soak off :)

Technically you should get a great result because the flexibility of the amazin base underneath should give you a flexible foundation :)

Let me know how you get on

Hope it arrives Monday :) I did have a bit of an email blip and then sorted it and found I had lots of orders I had not processed so there was a slight delay, but EVERYTHIGN has been posted now so should be with you soon.

I'm glad your feeling positive, you can do anything, and what have you got to loose if you try it and it doesn't work you will have he knowledge and experience to learn from and how you can make it work next time. Try it on yourself first, or a relative and when it's worked then roll it out to all your clients.

Look forward to your results :)

Exactly the same here! I don't know how I missed it either.

I'm buying too :)
