I used to be an educator for macademia and i love it, theres a few great ways to use it.
Before drying
Mixed in with tint or bleach
Mik with the macademia hair mask for a super conditioning treatment, best for really dry frizzy hair, at the moment i am trialling moroccan and argan but im still loving the macademia the best

oh thanks for the tips, i mixed some with a treatment then used a small amount before i dried my hair, even my hubby commented on how great my hair felt. :D

Can you mix this with a spray or conditioner? I've got it and was recommended I use it for monofibre hair extensions. I've only just had them done and washed after a week yesterday they were lovely but today are very frizzy :(

Macademia do an oil spray which is light enough even to use on fine hair, you could maybe give that a go

Hi there,

I think the best thing for you to do is to go directly to the Moroccan Oil website and buy from them. You have to pay shipping but at least you know ur getting the real deal.

It is called Moroccan Oil because that is where the Argan tree originates from and it is the seed in which the oil is extracted from. This is the reason why it is so concentrated and expensive - very lengthy extraction process.

Funnily enough my hair shop sells the whole range. Let me know what you recommend (apart from the pure oil which I use). X

Aston and fincher is the only place, I used it but it's way to heavy compared to macadamia, and exactly the same oil!! Their is no such oil as Moroccan oil, just a trading name.

The Argan tree is found ONLY in Argana in South West Morocco. The oil derived from the seed of this tree has has been used by Moroccan women for centuries. This is why it is know as Moroccan Oil. It is also used as a trading name but make no mistake - there is such a thing as Moroccan oil !

Well that's odd, I got told this by a rep of morrocan oil!

The Moroccans don't call their oil Moroccan oil as its called argan oil normally or huile d'argan to them just like the French don't call their windows French windows they are just windows

Macadamia oil, mega dust, silver shampoo, loosely defined, quick and dirty are my best sellers! I have a large quantity of these but they sell themselves x

Old thread but was trying to research if these morrocan oil and macadameia oil products are safe to use on nut allergy suffers? Thanks geeks :)
