Mother's Union Talk - Oh HELP!!!!

Hi Geeks,
I've been approached by my Church's Mother's Union to do a beauty talk for them on Thursday night - the other girl they had let them down at the last minute. I said I would gladly step in but I have NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!!! and it's on THURSDAY NIGHT!!!!!! (breathe).

Any ideas on what to talk about? Could I do some demonstrations?

Do you do make-up? If so that's probably the easiest demo, use your mum as a model so you can practice and just talk about each section of application. :hug:

Why not talk about what treatments you offer. Cover skin care routine may be demonstrate a manicure. Make up application. Dont make it too complicated just enjoyable and interesting.x

I've done talks before & find it easier to demo a treatment, rather than just stand there and wonder what to do with your hands.

Treatments I've demoed are:eyebrow shape, lash tint, leg wax, mini manicure. All the ones which are quick and instant results.

Aren't you Dermalogica trained Tasha? If I am not mixing you up with someone else why not do face mapping on someone?

I've done a lot of this kind of talking & the best thing is to make it interesting with hints & tips but not too theory heavy. If you're doing it on skincare demonstrate how they should take make-up off at home, how to cleanse their skin thoroughly, the best way to apply their moisturiser etc. I usully show them how to do a home face steam & how to make a simple oil & sugar/salt body scrub as well.
