were can i buy nail magazines from? ive tryed looking on WHSmithes online and nothing pops up

You can subscribe to the American magazines NAILS or NAILPRO.

Scratch is the only UK professional nail mag and is not sold through consumer stores like WH Smith. It is only sold through subscription to pros.

There are also quite a few Magazines that are not monthly, but worth having for the tuts and ideas.
