Hi everyone
I went into my local tanning shop today where they also offer beauty treatments, on their price list they offer a paraffin wax treatment with thermal mitts, I would personally not do this as it's 2 heat treatments at once. Is it just me????

I was taught that you could use either heated mitts or just plain towelling ones. The wax cools down quickly when it's on the skin and the heated mitts would open the pores more to help the absorbtion of oil. When I do a paraffin wax treatment on the body, I have an electric blanket under couch cover - so it's about the same thing.
I think it makes it a bit more luxurious and pampering. JMO :)

I was always taught not to! But I can see your point though. Thanks

i was also taught either or when i was at college we was taught it was 2 diffrent treatments

I do both, but mainly in pedi's not manis :)

I was taught either or at college as well but not both at the same time. Though it would depend on how sensitive a persons hands or feet are I suppose.
