Stealing my business Rant

It is always going to be an endless argument sadly - should nail techs have to study manicure for a set time before moving to enhancements, should massage therapists have to study anatomy or similar before doing massage and so on.

I also find it insulting that everyone who isn't a hairdresser but has qualified in extensions gets tarred with the brush of being incompetant and disrespectful towards long term hairdressers but there is little can be done about it. I will continue to learn all I can and strive to be the best in my area at extensions regardless of quips and petitions xx

Come and join my petition with habia - donna you have just said everything I said to habia! - completely agree!
Also we are suffering bad news in the press I.e the sun about extensions and it's probably because hairdressers are not doing them just joe bloggs!

So annoyed! A girl I am mutual friends with on Facebook has seen 2 days ago that I'm due to do a hair extension course in march (i am qualified to NVQ level 3 standard and have had 5 Years in the industry) and my beat friend has informed me that she's private messages HER! (yea my best friend who I do her hair anyway) along with 60 others tat she is wondering who would be interested in her hair extensions "cheaper than salon in the comfort of your own home " MY WORDING TOO as she is doing a course in two weeks! Call me a bit hasty but it's a bit of a coincidence isnt it that she's done that 2 days after I have!!! And emailing my own friends and did I mention she has NO EXPERIENCE in hairdressing. Sorry just had ro have a rant what do you all think?! And what would you do?? Xx

theres not alot you can do as some has the right to work so if you even employed some one or someone self employed you cant make them sign stuff just put down to experience they will probably end up having a bad experience and coming back to you it is annoying though
