Hey,

Guys, need your help.

I am presently using Tammy Taylor, but have heard good things about Creative. Well for now, I cannot purchase Creative until I am certified and qualified, unlike Tammy you can purchase it without.

Which one do you prefer. I have a Creative Catalog and I am fascinated with their product line. Also, I have a Tammy L&P and I wanted to buy the base coats and glue etc from Creative.

Tell me your thoughts.

Hiya x

Have you had any educational training at all...?...if so you can just do a conversion course with Creative...or get a sample pack from Creative to try it first. I really would recommend having training as it helps you to get the very best from your chosen product and gives you peace of mind that you are doing everything correctly. xx

Well I do not know very much about either but someone here gave me some good advice and that was to try many before settling on one.

I agree- I loooove Creative, and will be the first one to shove it on you lol, but do a little homework and see what the differences are, try out a kit, look at some finished product, then make your choice- I have used both lines, and IMO CND's lines, ALL OF THEM, are incomparable. I have had the best results, best training, and best care of the health of nails-ever.

Yes, I am actually attending a Cosemtology Acedamy, and i will be taking exams soon. My graduation is in December.

Presently I am using Tammy Taylor, but I have heard from other techs, that Creative is the bomb.

After I have graduated, I will be going to Puerto Rico hopefully to do a conversion course which maybe sometime next year January. I also love their nail enamel and solar line products.

Sometimes it is so hard to choose ;-)

it wont be when you choose the right ONE ;)

No contest - Creative :)

LOL Kate I was trying to be diplomatic lol.

Creative !

Imo that one word speaks a thousand and with that as many reasons why cnd is the learder of it's market.

Hth xx

Wowwwww!!!!

The reason why I use TT was because it was easy accessible. The stores here sell it and you don't need to show your certificate.

In Antigua they call Creative Powders calcium (I don't know why). But the technician said because the product is very good and it helps her nails to grow.

This comment right here should tell you ALOT. Can you guess what its saying?

Cant go wrong with creative and if you do they are at the end of the phone to help out with questions, what can i say " i love creative "

Heather is right...The fact that you don't need a license to buy it says a lot about the company.

I have have experience with both TT and Creative. I haven't had much experience with any other lines as I went straight to Creative once I had a choice, but between the two, there is no comparison. I find it much more difficult to get beautiful nails using TT, and why make it harder on yourself, especially just starting out? Also, I don't think TT even has a nail file over 180 grit, other than their buffer, but makes a dozen different 100-120 grit. They teach to etch the nail with their "terminator" which the name is perfect for... Totally ruins the nail. Their files are made so it's easier to saw down their horrendously thick nails!

Sorry, I'm getting carried away....I just know the relief I felt when I started using Creative. All the yellowing/lifting/bubbling/cracking ENDED and was no longer ashamed of my nails. I owe any success I have to Creative.

But as you know, different strokes for different folks. Everyone has their preferences. Try them all, not just full sets, but continous fills to see the longevity of the product, because that is where most of your business comes from. Good luck, I hope I haven't scared you!

Well, I'm an exclusive TT user and I'd not use anything else. I know I'll be shot down for my post but that's ok. I live in the US and Creative is available 'over the counter' here but TT isn't. NO ONE in our area offers TT but nearly every single beauty supply place carries CND. I spent so much money on CND while I was in school because I wanted 'the best'. For me it wasn't. Of course this goes back to personal preference. My choice is TT. I've tried several different kinds and chose TT. I love the product and I love the company. I love the help I get with this company and I love what it stands for. I've met Tammy and she is an absolutely incredible person in person also. I know this board leans heavily to CND but I had to put my 2¢ in here. Someone said that CND is the leader in the industry. In MY opinion, TT is the leader in the industry. I have talked to CND on the phone and gotten nowhere. When I decided to try TT and talked to them there was no comparison. My my choice is and always will be Tammy Taylor. Sorry to everyone else who disagrees with me. Oh, wait, I'm not sorry, actually. I am very happy with my choice in products.

take your stand michele, I absolutly agree 110 %. As do the thousands of techs who use Tammy Taylor Nails. I will stand my Tammy Taylor nails against ANY other nail product. I have over 25 yrs of doing nails, & I can tell you no other nail company stands behind their techs like Tammy does! Thats what makes her company the LEADER!
when I Had to use cnd in a salon I worked in, I had lifting, yellowing, bubbles, very senstive ratio issues.cracking. I am no newbie either.
it was a huge relief to me, to go back to a great nail product. Tammy Taylor.

if you have thick nails, then its tech error, not the product.

Just because a nail company has thier products in all supply houses, doesn 't make them the # 1 in this industry.

The company customer service, & the ceo of that company standing behind her product & giving 100% to her techs to provide the best nail products & education in this whole biz, thats what makes her #1.

WE who choose to use Tammy Nail products, stand by her with diehard loyalty. Its great to have loyal followers of your product of choice, but I will stick with what works me, & has for 25yrs. I stand for what I believe in, believe in what I stand for.

no contest~~~~ Tammy Taylor

I've been using Tammy Taylor exclusively for almost a year and at first I was excited about the product but now i'm so bored with it. I've heard so much about Creative and I want to try it, it sounds exciting. I'm trying to save my pennies that I can rid myself of TT products. Do you guys know in order to get the membership price you got to pay the membership fee and u must order 10 items if not u have to pay retail price? What's the sense of being a member if u want 2 items and have to pay full price. I could go on and on, but everyone has different preferences and I'm definitely not going back TT.

ezflow for mi:green:

i think choosing product lines is based on personal preference.each tech is different in their own way and product choices are unlimited.

i am creative and tammy taylor trained and in my own and honest opinion the difference between the two is clear.

when i made my decision on what l&p system to go with mine was based on the help, education, communication and ethos of the company.

tammy provides help for all on her website and doesn't charge for courses for even the basic advise especially on those to further your career or your business.

education in the uk for tammy is the best and i too have been on a creative course.

i would say consider all, tammy, creative, ezflow and the many other others out there. plus if you haven't been properly trained to use a product that too can affect your judgement.

all the best with your choices.

p.s all that glitters isn't gold, each product line has its issues

I just soaked my nails off this weekend and they looked wonderful. I did end up putting a set back on but I didn't have to. I could have just put on a clear coat and it would have been fine. So, in MY opinion, it's not the file that ruins the nails it the uneducated tech.

See, now that means nothing to me. I can't get TT anywhere around me at all. I have to order anything I want (which I happily do) but I can walk into every West Coast Beauty Systems store and get any Creative stuff I want. They are all over in this part of the US. So, what does that tell me/you? It's different depending on where you live I suppose.
