Hi folks,

Hoping you can provide some advice. What would you recommend for the size of a treatment room? The room will be used to provide massage so a full lay flat couch will be required. Space to move around the bed and some storage?

I have searched the net but can't see any guidelines.

Thanks in advance.

K

If the couch is 6ft long x 3ft, then you need a room at least with another 3 ft either side to walk around.

So somewhere around 12ft X 9ft

I got by on 12foot x 6. It was tight but manageable but not a lot of room for storage x

I have 12ft by 7ft. I have storage that spans width wise (narrow kitchen cabinets from Ikea) I also have a few shelves above that and one shelf high up for all my massage stuff like bolsters, pillows etc. Myself and the massage therapist find it works well for all the services we offer in that room.

I was similar @Jen889. I had kitchen cupboards at the back. Or the ikea units with baskets/cupboards/drawers in are good x

As big as you can lol! Remember to take into account larger clients and where they have to get changed etc xx
