hi this is my first post, ive been a mobile beautician for about 6 years now,i had a new client for a full leg and bikini wax today and she mentioned that the salon she used to go to uses talc when waxing (using warm wax as the therapist can see where shes waxed ) i know you use talc when sugaring but didnt know you could using warm wax, does any1 else do this and apart from the seeing where youve waxed is there any other benefits ? x

Using talc or more popular and effective oil, helps the wax to stick to just the hairs and not the skin resulting in a less painful wax.The skin is less likely to bruise and graze when there is a barrier.

I mainly use oil but i do still use a cornstarch based powder (femfresh) if someone is particularly hot and sweaty.

Oil is particularly good to use when skin is dry on legs and especially under non strip wax on bikinis underarms and definately for all intimate waxing.

aww thats really helpful, thank you xx
also ive downloaded the salon geek app on my iphone but i can see my threads when im on my phone-any ideas ? xx
