I agree....if its a new client that wants face, legs and intimate waxing done, I would start at the face as this is most likely what they would have been used to before. Like Julie says...if they are not having their face done the legs would be an ideal starting poing. Most people would have had their legs or face waxed before and it gives them the comfort to relax while you do the intimate waxing.........its all about trust and comfort and being relaxed and if your client can do that, then it will make it much easier for you to wax your client knowing they can relax and trust you fully.

Whichever way you wax I would leave the intimate areas to the end so they feel fully confident and comfortable with your skills and expertise.......

What an interesting thread!

I start at face, and work downwards, unless its full leg and b/l and then i do face, u/a, lower leg, upper leg and then b/l, turn over, finish legs and finish b/l if necessary.

At least I think that's what I do, but have never really thought about it until this thread!

If you are a quick effective worker it really doesnt matter in terms of redness do what works for you and your client and its not always going to be the same thing.I cant even say what order i do things because i really dont have a set routine in my head.

I tend to do the brazilian first especially if the room/client gets warm. I also get the client to turn only once if doing legs as well, as it is quicker and less disruptive to the client. I have one particular client who goes very red on her face so I start with facial waxing first in this case. :)

Generally speaking, I would start from the feet upwards, completing one side, then the other.

You could also do the face first so you give a chance for redness to go down. You've gotta have a system. Be methodical and keep it sectioned and simple. xx

I agree. Everyone is different. Unless you are a slow waxer I cant see how the redness from facial waxing will go down that much in the time it takes you to do legs. Some people just go pinker as the time goes on xxx

If I'm doing a full body wax on a guy, I start with them laying face down. Just so they can't see the look of dread on my face LOL. xxx
