The the college and salon I trained in used wella and iv always used wella at home aswell, but the salon where I work (it's the same salon I trained in) have now changed to goldwell , after getting used to the colour I do really like it , goldwell gives the hair a lovely shine , it's in great condition , good coverage , reds are fab and I never worry about getting green tones which I find you can easily get with wella but what do you geeks prefer

Love Wella use goldwell elumen and love that too xx

I do really like both , I understand how both work and been trained in both but because iv used wella longer I can guarantee what the results going to be , I do like how goldwell gives a nice shine , there reds are really vibrant but the wholesalers around me never stock the full range and a lot of the time have old stock so have ended up with bad results , that's why now i just use wella at home because I have access to the full range at all the wholesalers near me

We're onabout getting the reds the ones that are like a highlift are they any good xx

[QUOTE=Chantelle no not really they don't really work that well , they say they can lift through colour but they don't so they might be better on natural hair

:( do you think if you used a 12/0 and /45 you could make a high lift red? Xx

[QUOTE=Chantelle see iv always thought that , I think maybe if u put more red in like the amount u would put in for a base 7 then I think it would work but I think if u put the amount of mix tone it says on the chart for 12's I think it would be wishy washy

I was trained using goldwell and love it! But I used Wella in a salon and hated the permanents! I feels like it dries on the hair and doesn't spread very well so I was using more! But goldwell is easy to massage in etc :) but I do love the wella colout touch range as they are fab as they last well! X
