Thanks :)
It took me a while to get the hang of additives. The trick is less is more.
I use it out of the lid & an absolute minimum amount. You can always go back for more ;)
I use the smallest brush that's angled from the additives kit & gently dabbed each colour in an arch. Once the rainbow was done I blended with a bigger brush & just tidied around with dsperse (ipa) The purple is actually lilac longing.
Hope this helps :)

Loving these!! Guess what "WE" will all be trying this week lol ;)

Mines today. Dark lava and irresistible garnet ultra fine glitter and ring finger is irresistible silver holo and dark lava on top and etched out with dotting tool. 😃

Thought I'd give limeaid a go, added lemon sunshine additive to them and some dotty flowers. Cream puff was really runny, no idea why I shook it like mad because its usually on the thick side which has resulted in not so perfect flowers. Not sure if I like them or not though.

A little disheartened tonight! These are my first set of sculpts. Took 2.5 hrs! Using Bio Sculpture free edge and s-gel with a French overlay.

Firstly i really Struggled with fitting forms as she had minimal free edge - they ended up soooooo thick - and too flared at free edge :-(

Really knocked my confidence ....

I think you should be proud of yourself! I'd be really happy if they were my nails! They do look a little bit thick on the free edge but only slightly! Apart from that they look lovely :) x

Bless you, we all have times like these where we feel our confidence is knocked.
Sometimes things go great and other times they are pretty crap.... it happens to all of us.
I love sculpting now but in the past i used to hate it and forms were a right royal pain, practice practice practice and all of a sudden the penny will drop and you will have mastered it.
Bio is quite time consuming to sculpt as you have the free edge gel and the s-gel to work with.
Have you tried Brisa Lite? i much prefer it and it's much quicker, easier and stronger, i used to find the free edge gel quite brittle.
sending you big supportive hugs xxxx

P.s a little trick i learnt with the forms is to pinch the bottom corners together before fitting then wiggle the form into make a nice c curve, it worked a treat for me :)

I think they look good!! I see what you mean about them being slightly thick and flared, but they're by no means a bad set!! I'd be really happy with them!!

Thanks Sarah, how long does it take you to do full set of sculpts?

Lol about 2 hours, same with extension tips. My clients are wanting gel polish over their enhancements which is what's slowing me down I think as I'm having to buff the two layers of S gel instead of just one :-/

I do, they're very fresh and spring like. Just what's needed at the moment. :)
