What nails are you sporting today?

My new nails. This is loose glitter encapsulated in Bio Sculpture gel over sculptured enhancements. Does anybody have any tips for keeping smile lines neat and crisp when using loose glitter? And also tips for putting the layer of gel over the glitter tips and keeping it neat and tidy? Mine are quite thick and lumpy :-/ It was the first time I'd given this a go and I'd love to perfect it :-(

Hi, I find it really difficult to get that crisp smile when using glitter but I apply the top coat over the glitter area, cure then apply all over xx

Thanks for your reply. I find if I use gel top coat, you can still feel the roughness of the glitter, but if I use S gel by Bio Sculpture (building gel) it gets it completely smooth. I just find it difficult keeping all of the glitter on the tips when applying S gel, even though I clean my brush after each stroke, it still seems to pull through :-(

Thanks for the compliment!! They're still a bit too bulky and lumpy even though I buffed like mad!! Lol xx

My l&p enhancements. Haute pink mixed with white powder and a few different nfu.oh glitters. 3d bows/flowers. The white has white glitter mixed in along with it which doesn't show up on pic.

Could you not make a paste with some glitter and clear or s gel?

I've found when I tried this previously, that the glitter tips were really fat and chunky? Maybe I wasn't doing it right :-/

When you make a paste I think you brush it on - rather than apply thickly like gel. Have you seen the fingernail fixer video on making a paste hun? (although it's with shellac, it's the same principle) xxx
