I do run trainings all over Uk. Next week away to Northampton. In april time suth wales, june in Doncaster at Gemma Lambert Nail place
I have academy in my salon as well available for one to one trainings xx

Just with Black Pool Shellac. Did you use Black Shadow and it didn't work? Otherwise, yeah, I would turn to foil adhesive to use for your design, then foil over that xx

Apparently the heavier pigmented colours are better for grabbing the foil - I uses shellac Blackpool and asphalt shellac and both worked perfectly - try using heavily pigmented (not glitter) colours .

Are you not getting any adhesion at all or is it patchy?

CND shellac in cocoa and Blackpool over Brisa lite smoothing gel with gold spikes to the thumbs.
I know where I need to improve with sharper lines etc.. But it was nice to do something different on myself other than pinks and reds!
Hoping to book myself on the 2 shellac courses so I can improve x x x

Several geeks recommend The Edge foil adhesive. I got some and it has made a world of difference!

My big sis let me practice on her today with extensions and Shellac Midnight Swim with her ring finger done with CND shimmering additives Amethyst Flash and an embossed metallic rose using 3different coloured pink foils ( photo doesn't show the rose too well).

I really need more practice though as my extension work is pants!! And I just noticed I played way too safe around the cuticles - could have gotten closer :-(

Extensions done with CND Brisa lite sculpting gel.

I'm not sure what to advise - other than checking that

1. The adhesive has dried before putting the foil on
2. The foil is put on with the pattern/colour facing you (unlike what I'd did when I started by putting the colour/pattern on the nail! Doh!)
