Hi

I trained with Sienna X they were really good and the products are great. Victoria was the trainer fro my area. give them a ring for info

Hey,

Lol the question has been asked before - if you type it in search (top right) you'll see some threads.

I am St. Tropez trained and I loved it.

However Tantrick, couture, fake bake are just to name a few others. Other geeks will be along who will tell you there favourite. The man who owns wow products which has tantrick is on here but I don't know his name - I'm sure he'll pop in and tell you details.

HTH

Becki xxx

I have just had my training today with Sienna-X, It was great fun and I highly recommend them. Victoria also my training, very thorough and enjoyable.

How funny is that.. I have just got home from my SiennaX training with Victoria! and met Sarahcutekitten there lol

Was about 3 hours long and we did not stop, we went through the manual and then spray tanned each other. I do like the product too. Victoria was lovely.

clearly I know which one is the best..but Tonilee has beaten me to it.

To offer you best impartial advice...

1) We will all say "our's is best "so ask around (youv'e made a good start here on Salon Geek) then ring them all and get as much info as is possible..how much for the training, whats involved, how much is the kit that best suits your needs(make sure you dont get sold a system that won't fit our requirements.)
What is after sales like..will your chosen brand be there for you when you have a new customer that has a speciolist requirement that perhaps wasn't covered in your training.

2) Once you have decided which one is for you I would recomend that you buy the equipment from the company you are doing your training with...that way they will look after you if you have a problem with your equipment downline.....you can always buy equipment possibly cheaper from the internet...but what back up will they give you??

3) Remember this is a joint venture partnership between yourself and the brand you go for...you need each other which makes for a fantastic buisness relationship....so cheapest in the long run isn't always the best and might cost you dearly

So you are going to get confused..take your time ,research as much as possible and dont be afraid to ask questions......oh and welcome to this fantastic buisness from all us Geeks on line...its good fun, hard work but the rewards are there if you'r willing to get stuck in ...best of luck in your search:hug:

I can't comment on any of the others, but I've just done my Sienna training and it was great! I'm a beauty therapist and go on at least 2 courses a year with various companies and I have to say it was very good. Very relaxed but also comprehensive. I got home and did 2 tans on my mum and my sister, and both were perfect and I was able to talk to them competently about how it works and all of the do's and dont's... they were very impressed and said I looked like I'd been doing it for years! I didn't even have to refer to the instructions on the machine it was all covered in the training. Lovely product and good training. Thanks Victoria!xxx :)

Hi ya and welcome, its either this months or last months scratch mag that has done a comparison of the main spray tan systems, what they offer, what makes them unique etc. I have a long list of questions that I'm going to be asking the suppliers at exel, because I to want to add spray tans to my service menu this year, along with waxing:green:

Have a look at Celebrity Secrets too.....loving their new solutions.

Thanks for all your replies.

I will give Tantrick a call today and have a chat with them to see where I can do a course and hopefully get up and running asap!

Thanks once again to you all

Have a look on Spray Tan Supermarket, HVLP Equipment, Tanning Solution, Popup Cubicle, Extractor Fans too, they have different brands, and trainers on there, but my best advice is to ask for a demo from each company you are thinking about using, Couture have training centres at most of the Creative Nail Academies, try out a few before making that decision, but as previously mentioned, you should buy the equipment and the solution from the same company, then you will be trained on the complete system.

Urban Tan best tan ever call them they will give you one to one training voted best tan by elle magazine and used by the dancing on ice team ill never use anyone else its fab. trained with them all this is the best., x x
