Hiya
Looking at what wax heater to buy. Im doing warm waxing and also going to be doing hot waxing so ideally looking for 1 that is used for both.
Can anybody recomend one please?

Hive 1000cc heater. Though you will end up needing one for strip (warm) and one for non-strip (hot) wax. You can't use the one heater and switch between waxes ... most appointments need both to be used.

I have this hive 1000cc wax heater, its the same as used in alot of collages and salons, and I've found it very good. You can use it for two (or more) different types if you buy a seperate inner pot, which I have done as I use it for warm wax and parrafin wax. You just need to let it cool before taking a pot out, and I put cling film over whichever one is not in the heater to keep it fresh :)

Hope that helps :)

Salon Services/ sallyexpress.com do the starter kit if you need everything, you get the pre wax, after wax, spatulas, strips, ect. Its the Mercia one, but I think thats the same make as Hive.

My boyfriend got me the Hive kit from www.cd-hairbeautyproducts.co.uk and said they were very helpful as he didn't have a clue what I needed. It is only £65 inc vat :)
