Not yet finished but pretty close! Still have to put my certs up on my ego wall :D

This was our outhouse, concrete building in the garden just perfect for my little studio now!

Any tips on what to do to improve? I am putting up certs, posters & shellac racks (original single-line racks)

It is the perfect nail table! I got it from ikea about 18 months ago, at the time it only came in red but it's the perfect width & depth and I love it enough to tailor my colour scheme to red :D

Question....is good salon guide worth it? What hoops do you have to jump through to get 5 stars? Is it costly....p.s just a slight OCD moment....can you have your hydrologic pumps peddles all facing to the back where you stand?ill be able to sleep then lol just my crazy salon OCD lol same as tint tubes mark in different places in the front depending how much left in them!

Yes we do but this pic was taken at the end of the day so foot pedals were everywhere probs lol. Good salon guide have different criteria to be a 5 star all stylists must be NVQ level 3 trained and you have drinks menus and service menus serving moccas lattes etc just the extra touches. But they will tell you what to do to achieve a 5 star I think it's about £100 per month for 5 star salons. I'm cancelling it though as I have no proof of new custom coming through the good salon guide. :)

Love the floor and how uniform the place feels. I WOULD however try to continue the red theme a little more. Perhaps a vase with a few red flowers or a nice black white and red print on the wall? even a stack of towels in a matching colour - just to add a bit more colour to the room while staying coordinated :D Perhaps something to tie the shelving unit in more?

Thanks for the ideas! I now have my certs & shellac racks up which have splashes of red but I agree needs a little more adding. I don't think red towels will work though, somehow :/ but I'll look out for a few piccies to go up! And maybe something for the shelves too!

Thx xxx
