I'm learning to drive now but feel like if I'm not able to get some clients in now I won't be able to afford my insurance etc!
Also do you need one of those portable backwashes? I know some people don't use them but just wondered other peoples ideas

I don't do hair but my friend does she doesn't have a backwash usually uses the persons bathroom but obviously it's what you prefer you do need a car I tried to be mobile before I could get a car and it literally isn't worth it time wise although you'll begin to get a client base x

I can't imagine being mobile without my car! Carrying everything you need on public transport and then sometimes having to walk a fair bit to a client house would be a nightmare! X

I diddnt have a backwash I just used people's baths / sink it's really hard on you back tho bending over awkwardly! My best advice is get one of those plastic shower heads that connect onto peoples taps, it's seriously annoying trying to rinse colour out with a pint glass! Try really hard to sort out your vehicle tho it's no joke carrying mobile kit around on public transport! Good luck!

If you stick to just cutting until you get a car, it's do-able as you can fit everything into a small bag. I had a pal that did just cuts to build up her business and she did really well.

Once you need to cart chemicals, shade charts etc, it's probably too much to cart around even when using a wheeled trolley.

I'm a mobile stylist based in London and I don't drive. Yes it's a pain sometimes but I can get all my equipment, colours etc in my suitcase and it works for me as most of my clients live around my area or a bus ride away. It's all parking permits around my area so I save on parking fees, petrol etc.

Do you put in hair extensions please? Thanks.
