Would It be a good idea if we write out what we have eaten each day.. Especially the people doing well on their diets. It might give the rest of us a bit of inspiration

For eg
Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs (no toast)
Cup of tea with one sugar
Lunch: crackers with ham and little cheddar cheese slice onion, low fat mayo
Cup of tea with one sugar
Dinner: slow cooked lamb shanks with veg (all swimming in fat) 1 roastie
Trifle for desert
1x scone and butter

Oh well I can see where I'm going wrong.
But tomorrow will be better because that's my first day of healthy eating for this year.
 
Will do it once as its pretty typical day for me
2 weetabix with skimmed milk half a banana and blueberries

Apple

Two eggs poached, seeded granary bread x1 big handful of rocket

Melon And kiwi

Cup whole wheat pasta with homemade Quorn,veg and tomatos sauce

Options hot chocolate and 6 almonds

Exercise 5k run (350cal) 20mins of core training and walked approx 3.5 miles ;)
I should be tiny!!
 
Well today I have had ,
Porridge skimmed milk,
I chicken salad bowl from Costco ( without the sauce) I put some balsamic and hole grain mustard on,
An Apple,
10 sports mixtures gums,
4 big pickled onions
2 cups tea skimmed milk.

Oh gawd I've started the day badly... 3jam tarts and I've picked off the remaining nail varnish on my baby nail ;)

As the song says, things can only get better!!
 
Just been catching up on this thread, quiola is really good for you and short grain brown rice, filling and healthy.
Was recommend both when I use to see a nutritionist
I only need those few 1lb but really need to tone as feel yuck.
I do find it hard as I can't exercise as have ME so walking is only way or yoga when I have the energy x

Another 6 k (well almost) day off tomorrow then long one (7miles) Wednesday ;)

Ok I just checked my BMI on my scales (naked I normally weigh in with my dressing gown on ) and its 24.0 so im going to am for about 22 :-D

I've only got about 6 lbs to lose, but it's all about getting toned this year for me. I feel very wobbly and as I've now reached 30 I can feel the bingo wings flapping when I'm waxing other people's legs or bikini lines, not cool.

I've just rejoined the gym and I'm gonna do 2 classes a day. On the days that I can't go, I've got the 30 day shred DVD by Jillian Michaels. I did it before a hol last year and cannot tell you the difference I noticed. I lost 8lb as well which was a bonus! It's amazing, I threw up the first time I did the level three! Hardcore or what! No pain no gain!

been doing long walks as exercise

today i changed it up and did a kickboxing dvd

soooo loved it, it totally energised me

was buzzin after and ended up clearing out whole house lol

re what i eat

i worked out if i ate 2200 cals i stay same weight as am so to drop down to 1400 would save me 800 + 400 cals from daily exercise = 1200 saved x 7 days = 8400 and with 3500 cals per pound that equals about 2 1/2 pounds per week

i try to get in as much protein as possible

Tesco value curry noodles with a big blob of light mayo (because i'm lazy and everything else was too much of an effort)

a gone off orange which my mother failed to tell me was a month old

butternut squash, broccoli, gravy, 2x mini jacket potatoes

5x cans of coke because i'm getting desprete!!!!!

Lol I have been doing the same calculations ,but im only on day 3 , but I read that 1 pound off is equivalent to minus 1500 calories :-/

hey there

are you aware noodles can be quite calorific?

and the coke is that full fat or diet??
 
Im really sad that its 3500 ,dont know where the 1500 came form :'(

I've been really lazy over Xmas/New Year so at the weekend did a boxing class to kick start me back into exercise. Proper hard workout! Really enjoyed it .. only today my arms and shoulders really really ache and I'm a massage therapist!!
