well ladies on day 2 of get rid of my winter 1 stone weight gain and gues what weighed this morning and 4 pounds down!!!! :lol::lol:

The scales have always been an issue with me, I weigh twice a day but thinking of putting them away and going by my size, weight is soo deceiving, I'm only 5 3 I'm a comfortable 12/14 swim 180 lengths competitive swimming a week and walk an average of 15 miles a week but am still 11 stone, which shocks people.

yeh twice a day probs a bit too much!

dont be stressin about the scales if you feel good in your clothes

and sounds like you have a high level of fitness

might be worthwhile for you to get your bodyfat % measured

as yours mightnt be that high ie you might have more mucle which would mean the higher weight on the scales?

what about going by the measuring tape?

I'm actually same as you!!! I'm short, heavy by weight but am 12/14 as well :( stopped weighing though as it depresses me :(

Well today I weighed in at 10st 8pounds am 5'5" sz12 ish,iv got 10 weeks till I go on holiday so want to lose as much as possible ,iv been good today probably had about 800 cals ,so time will tell I really feel quite motivated at the moment so hopefully that will stay ,keep up the good work girls :-D

Well I have been really good so far since thurs with my food but I have really let myself down as I had a few Bacardi and cokes last night and tonight I have had a few stellas grr

Tomorrow after rugby I will be doing some ab work have a really good ab workout that really does work if you stick to it so I have decided that on the days I don't run it will be ab work and my mantra is 'I will be thin, I will be thin, I will be thin!!'

Core training will be really good too whilst on days not running :) .... I heard a news speech today saying its not what you eat that's bad it's how much ... A few bacardis and Stella's are fine if not over indulged just like food... Obv when losing weight the less of these the better, but don't be hard on yourself :)
 
I'm not being too hard on myself I do know a bit in moderation is ok! I'm doing core work cause I know it'll help with my running I already have the start of a six pack and my ambition is to finish it lol x

owww i weighed today and it was really sad! no more joking around for me, i'm going to be good today but have my sunday roast and then tomorrow i'm on it!!!! i put on a stone over december!!!!! how does that even happen??? :lol:

You can still have a healthy roast hun, leave your potatoes till last and if your full then listen to your tummy ;) I'm just lying in bed deciding what to do for lunch today ... Not even had breakfast yet lol

hmmm true, well i've banished my dad from making yorkshire pudding, and anything like cheesey mushrooms. I'm currently hiding up stairs with my oats so simple whilst my dad has a bacon butty boooo!

I find when i'm on a diet all i think about is food! when i've eaten my tea i'll be like 'whats for tea tomorrow?!' haha something to look forward to x
 
I know what you mean, I used to obsess so badly, when I joined ww in jan if last year I promised myself I wouldn't become obsessed this time and I don't know how but I haven't and its been the most successful weight loss I've ever achieved and managed to keep off, I do have blips and put a few pounds on here and there but I'm never returning to how I was before! Finding nice flavour is the key for me, that way I don't get bored, and I don't deprive myself of anything ... Moderation is king :) xx

Its called calorie counter on android has a picture of scales with feet on them has loads of good stuff on it and it free :-D

I like my fitnesspal for iPhone as it has a barcode scanner ;) just scan in what you have eaten and it adds it to your diary

It's brill! First day I got it I was scanning everything..didnt like tge DVDs and CDs I tried to scan though lol
 
Found it, it wasn't really hiding.
Fingers crossed il be my target weight soon
