I sometimes order from Sally's & yes they do only have a limited collection in stock they will order you any colour from the range! I ordered the Candy Land colours because they didn't have them in stock, took 2 days!! Maybe give them a call if it's been 2 weeks that's AGES!!! x
Thanks Jo Jo did call them last week will try them again today. Didn't think it be this long. Need them for tom as my pal engagement party on friday. Xx

I ordered mine at Sally's online.
It is taking longer as some of the colours I ordered were not colours they hold so therefore were special order.

Sally's in Basingstoke can't take card payment over the phone so I would have to make two journeys to Sally's.
One journey just to pay & then another to go back when they get them in (totalling over 60 miles just for one order) so the money saved on VAT free days would be spent on petrol.... ridiculous.

Can I just ask - if you order them on the VAT free day instore at Salon Services, do you then get them at the VAT free price?

Yes, as long as you pay for them on the VAT free day.
That is what is so annoying in store, that you have to make two journeys rather than pay when they get them in.

Just called them & order is coming tomorrow:)

My Sallys lets me order them over the phone on VAT free day and pay over the phone too so I only have to go in to collect, seems a bit daft that they cant take payment over the phone, how annoying for you

Dragging up an old thread I know, but how did you manage to order colours from Sally's online that they do not hold in stock? I can only find an option to add to basket if it is one of the colours they list on their website?

I also use Sallys in Basingstoke and was told on the last VAT day that they couldn't order in colours that they didn't normally hold as shop stock? Wonder if it's different in different stores or the sales assistant just didn't know what she was talking about?

I just gotta add something to this thread that may be of interest... I went in Sally's in Romford the other week and asked for 3 gelish colours - shake it til you samba, eur so chic and need a tan - all of which I was told were out of stock. However I was then invited to go out in the stock room and check myself as I was taller than the sales woman and to my surprise, they had the colours I wanted plus a whole heap of colours that I'd been asking for previously and had been told they didn't have!! Basically the moral of the story is dont take their first answer!! Seems like more often than not they just chuck stock in front of stock so they can't see what they've got!
