licence to play music in salons? ********

I realise i'm a bit late in reading this thread, but my god i can't believe it!!!!!
Absolutly shockin' this is!!!!
Robbing buggers, and thats putting it nicely!!!!
I'm in the North West and haven't been contacted yet but it sounds like they're working their way up.So i'm now awaiting my phone call. How on earth are us small businesses ment to stay afloat when the are chucking charges at us left right and centre!!!
I'm with the majority i'll just switch mine off, no-one really listens to it anyway its just background noise!

we have the same law here in canada. but how will they police it to many out in the city and never minde in your own home there is a law for your own home that they can not come with in 50 feet of your place to investigate with out a warent. so i say bring on the warrent do you think the courts will enjoy warents for playing music we all ready paid for. as the move says bring it on.
