Slimfast?

Can anyone tell me if they contain wheat ?
 
I lost 4 1/2 stone on slimfast 3 years ago and i have kept it off :) this is how i did it
Breakfast: slimfast
11oclock: banana
1.30: slimfast
5 oclock: weight watchers meal and pudding
8 oclock: high lites hot choc drink
 
I dont know effie. I know they have a lot of protein, carbs all your vitamins etc and emulsifiers. I doubt they're gluten free so probably...

Well done, I have 2.5-3 stone to lose so I'm hoping it'll give me a kick start.

They have lots of sugar it makes me get spots x
 
I couldn't get on with it; i did Atkins instead years ago and lost 6 stone. I know a few people who have done slim fast successfully but the weight has piled on quickly after if you are not careful.

I do use meal replacement shakes now but i prefer specialist ones + multi vitamins from myprotein.co.uk - it helps keep weight off :)
 
I didnt no slimfast had a diet plan think, thought it wasjust shaks? I did cambridge n lots 3 1/2st in 6 mths, kept it off for 18 mths but want to lose a couplemore stone, just cant get back into cambridge atm :(

I made my own diet plan up with slimfast and used weight watcher meals
 
I love it - I just use the bars and the Tesco bars - I find it kills my appetite and stops me snacking...ive been binging recently and put on some weight I had lost so today started back on soup diet and tomorrow/tues will go onto slimfast... I do proper breakfast then a bar for lunch and tea..mix in healthy food now and then..the bars are gorgeous

Yeh i use myfitness pal too, when i get my head into it.how much r the bars n shakes u buy, the ones i buy from cambridge are between £1.50-£2 each.

You have to be careful as slim fast contains a ridiculous amount of sugars!!! I did slim fast for about 2/3 weeks then found out how much sugar it had in so switch to a different brand with less sugars! I always mixed with water not milk, not a milk lover!! I lose about a stone in 4 weeks but still found too much sugar in them so went back to food and lost another stone :) that was about 8 months ago now I'm back to it but no slim fast this time!!
 
I swear by it :) i yo yo dieted for years and its the only thing that worked for me x
 
I've used the tesco ultra slim which is their equivalent of slim fast, I find that if you follow their recommendation (a shake for breakfast and a shake for lunch with a 600 calorie meal in the evening, 2x snacks of no more than 100 calories) you see the weight come away quite quickly, you can expect to lose a stone in your first 4 weeks which many find really good as you're getting results quite quickly. I also find that because of a hectic diary I often find it hard to have a good routine with my meals so a shake can be really easy. I am currently using my fitness pal trying to do things the "right" way but I find the 1200 calories I'm untitled to very limiting, I don't always have time to get to the gym which means I can't go over the 1200 as I can't work any calories back off, I think it's turning me into a super bitch! I think I'm convincing myself to do a slim fast style diet again just writing this, last time I did it was a few years ago and I did it just before Xmas so stopped for that and fell off the band wagon, I want to lose between 2 & 3 stone and get back to the size I use to be (not quite sure what weight I was or am now as scales aren't working, normally just go by size) I want this to be a long term thing but I'm using my holiday in November as an inspiration and goal. I may try starting on the shakes again then gradually coming off them in favour of food using the my fitness pal app to help me come off it and merge into a better long term eating habit.

Its not easy all this diet stuff is it, sometimes i wish i was one of them people that eat wat they want n dont put on weight or exercise lol, if only x
 
I used to be like that and as soon as I hit 20 it was like the transformation on dr dolittle when the drink thing wears off (maybe not quite so extreme) I always wanted to be a size 12 but my frame is to small for that I love the curvy look but I don't look curvy when I have a fuller figure I just get fat thighs and bum!

Id like to be a 12/14 but currently a 16/18. I lost 3 1/2 st last yr n still stayed the same size, god knows how lol. Im only 5.1 so maybe all the weight was inside n i now have slim insides lol, but still alot of chub on the outside. I need to get into it properly im easily lead by a chocolate bar lol, hard times x

I don't like to moan too much as I know a lot of people would love you be a size 12 but I find myself very uncomfortable, I gets chaff on the inside of my legs and in have back rolls and muffin tops I think people like nigella lawson look great, they are curvy and it really suits them, I think some people have the right frame for this others don't.xx
 
I no what you mean some people carry their weight n look great, i dont at all lol x
