Hi, could anyone advise me on the mixing ratio to create 66/0 by mixing 55/0 & 77/0?
Im assuming slightly less of the 5??
And do you think it will give a true 6? Thanks

15 ml 55/0 + 15 ml 77/0 + 30 ml 6%

Always equal amounts.

You're welcome :)

No, not equal parts! It will be closer to a 5 if you do that!!

The pigment density in a 7 is lower then a 5, therefore it hasn't got the strength to weaken it as much!

10ml 55/0 20ml 77/0 30ml 6%..

it's a technicality and you'll probably never notice. But it's still correct to do a bit more of the lighter shade you're using

This does make more sence to me, its what i suspected it would be.

I used 3/4 77 & 1/4 55 and it was perfect! Thanks x
