Imapmyrun..I did have run keeper pro but if u lose GPS it automatically pause . I was out running for 2 1/2 hours once and when I got home it had lost everything so went back to Imapmyrun. I also track on my fitnesspal
 
I don't know what possessed me!! Have just signed up for a half marathon!!! Seriously! What was I thinking??
 
Well done you are mad but then so are most runners!! I did a half in Oct and I both loved and hated it lol
I am intending to do two this year one in march and again in Oct. I am also going to do some 5 and 10 k's inbetween.

When is your half? Make sure you set yourself a realistic goal and get a good training plan going. Good luck x

It's 24tg March. I was running regular 12-13 milers till end of October so I know I can do it, just needed to have something to work toward to stop me "forgetting" to go running ;)
I have done Belvoir castle 10k last two years, it's notoriously hilly. First year I did it in 57 mins last year I did it in 54 ;)

Am going to do it next October too aiming to knock two mins off ;)
 
Fab well it sounds like you know what your doing just don't push yourself to much.
That's one if the advantages/disadvantages of living where I do its very difficult to find a route that's flat so um used to hills. Though it's handy for me cause when I do run a flat course I end up with a good time ;)
I did my first 10k last year in horrible wet windy conditions (which let's face it is most days in this country) and was pleased with my 56.10 but yours are amazing times!
I'm hoping for a good year with lots of pb's (I had best get running lol)

We should set up a running thread. Post distances and times so we can all motivate eachother and "compete" against eachothers times lol

well ladies on day 2 of get rid of my winter 1 stone weight gain and gues what weighed this morning and 4 pounds down!!!! :lol::lol:

wooo delighted and focused
 
I was doing well on the run up to Christmas, lost a good few pounds (startedat 11st 4.5 and a generous size 14) and was going to the gym a lot and doing classes, felt heaps better then THE FLU struck and I've done sweet f a for nearly 3 weeks, just feeling well enough to go the shop now not the flamin gym lol

But maybe by monday hey . . . .

See you back here on 30th January, for the record I'm presently 10st 8lb and a 14 and I'd like to lose half a stone (ok, lets say 8lb just to even it out) by then.

Says she having just enjoyed a massivo lump of cheddar and several fat free ryvitas :eek:

May I ask how tall you are? I'm the same weight as you and 5 foot 5. Size 10 to 12 xx

Aha .....there's the difference, I'm just under 5'2" xx I'm not overweight, I'm undertall lol
 
So ladys I have been recommended quinola it's a kind of grain/pulse/beet it is yum yum yum it is mainly protein try it it's a cross between rice/barley it's little balls bit like couscous looking but totally different lol.

Body builders eat it a lot and it's clean protein.

I cook it with veg stock rather than just water and it's lush really really filling and really good for you.

So I've been good but had 1 sin a can of coke :eek: I know I know stupid girl I here you say but I am determined to loose this lard ass but I just needed a can of coke lol.

Started my weight training again and me exercise bike.I may even post before and after pics on here once I have the guts to lol.xx
 
How can I have forgotten this thread so quickly after just posting on it? Within seconds I was finishing up hubbys Christmas whole nut :eek:

Aw your a little diddy like me :) I'm just under 5'2" and now I'm 9st 12lbs I'm 10-12, started out last jan at 12st and a size 16 eeek
 
I had my first post Christmas weight watchers class today and pleasantly surprised to find I've only gained half a lb phew ... Keep up good work and keep your focus girlies xx

It's amazing how much difference there can be in dress size when folks are similar weights or heights :)

I eat loads if the stuff. Throw it in salads, with fish, ANYTHING really fills you up. Always cook with plenty if seasoning or its like eating a bar of sawdust

It's lovely,tried it without stock or seasoning and it wasnt awful but wasn't great shall we say lol.

It's so much nicer than rice I think.I'm going to have it tomorrow with some white crab meat and lemon thought that would be nice.

I was stuffed after about 7 mouth fulls lol

I THINK I might of had this before is it almost a pasta texture?? Teeny balls like cous cous but a bit bigger ?? Loved it whatever it was I had :) xxx
