Yes that totally makes sense. I have a few lb to go to target and over Xmas I was like who cares but now I do care' thankfully I stayed the same. I say I don't care what people think but that's a lie too. For me it's not losing it it is keeping or off x

Nearly 5 mile run xx

That question will always be met with a big loud YES! in this house. :D

I have found myself to be an expert on thinking up excuses to justify my bad choices!

But that's not truly wanting it, its fancying it lol i went from averaging 3 bars a day (joined with a drink of coke as if i have a chocolate i HAVE to have a coke too) to 1 a week if that! :)

No, I need to stop! I want to be able to find healthy food that I actually like and enjoy eating but the truth is I don't enjoy it as there's always something missing.

I did low carb a few years ago and it was the only time I properly lost weight, but it went too far and I ended up losing my boobs (that was weird!) and also gaining a Deirdre Barlow neck. I couldn't see it coming, but my friends did and I never took any notice as I thought they were being over the top.

I just want to be normal, but I love stodge!

My mom has always done us a full cooked tea so meat and veg etc so lunch is usually a sandwich, we are naturally healthy eaters anyway but i actually like healthy foods like salads with ham and poached eggs, tuna pasta mayo and salad, jacket potato and tuna mayo, its not really what you eat Italians how much you eat that makes the difference! You don't have to do low fat this and low fat that, just the right choices with normal sized portions :)

I did actually reply to this Grrrrr, a nice salad with peppers too, with ham and poached eggs is nice, tuna pasta mayo is my fav, jacked potato with tuna mayo is also one of my faves, its not really what you eat its how much of it you eat, so you don't have to force yourself to like anything low fat because it says low fat as they usually have substitutes in that your body changes anyway, diet coke is really bad for you and stuff like that so reduce your amounts and eat normally just not so much of it :)

Have to say the only thing I would be worried about having "low fat" is meat. Make sure it's lean but low fat yoghurts, ready meals etc are just full of sugar which your body transforms to fat anyway if you don't burn it off ;)
I'm doing alternate day but my own take approx 800cal one day (they recommend 500) and 1700 the next x

Like my mum says, fat isn't the problem convienience and lazy ness is :) in her day they lived on a diet of fried breakfasts, slabs of homemade bread and chunks of cheese, beef dripping, meat and two veg. All home cooked, they had no TV so would be out walking all tge time, never had snacks or ate takeaway food, didnt drink to excess..my mum was approx 7 1/2 stone as were her sisters, very few people were overweight back then but now it is the norm which says a lot

My rule of thumb is eat clean. So clean meat, clean carbs,salad,fruit.seeds.

When I did this before i lost lots of weight with exercise every day.

I didn't eat low fat things you can buy in the shops because it isn't really low fat if you look properly.

Just eat lean and clean.
:cry::cry::cry: good by rubbish food good by:cry::cry::cry::cry: lol.

I lost 35 lbs through lighter life and have kept it off for two years. No secret I'm a fraid for me except realising how little you can eat day to day compared to before I lost the weight, how I have to monitor what I eat daily as in if I'm going out for dinner I eat little, that exercise doesn't make a lot of difference to weight loss in some cases makes you hungrier, that as you get older its harder to keep thin, and you have to choose between your ass and your face as in lose too much you have a great ass but too thin face. Having said all that though I'm so glad I did it though and I still see my lighter life counsellor if I put on few pounds I get back on track instead if before I Wd be oh my god I've gained 3 lbs might as well eat more which leads to a stone xx good luck to you all this year I want to get a lot fitter

6 mile run..700 odd cals

What app do you use? It looks good :)X

Not sure if its the same one but very similar is endomondo, me and my friends went on a walk in the summer downloaded it to track our walk home so we could know exactly how far we walked in an hour or so, maps it out the same and tells calories too I think xx
