I cant live without Liz Earle skincare especially the skin repair moisturser!! Also love elizabeth arden eight hour cream, Jane iredale make up a must have!!

:D

2 litres of water a day
at least 8 hours sleep (if I am lucky ;) normally only get 6
5 portions of fruit and veg

regular exfoliation and plenty of Cinques Moisutre on Call

(1) I drink at least 1.5 litres of water a day

(2) Loreal Facial Skin Wipes (the one that foams up with water) absolutely brilliant, I have combination skin which is very oily in the t-zone. Since using there has been a major reduction in the amount of greese on the face.
(3) Loreal Anti Regreasing Moisturiser, again brilliant at reducing oils
(4) Forever Living Aloe Vera juice in the morning and before bed
(5) Forever Living Body Scrub - seen a reduction in the appearance of cellulite
(6) Forever Living Lip Balm for dry lips and smells really tasty
(7) MAC cosmetics (carry it with me wherever I go)
(8) Plenty of fish, veg and fruit
(9) Last but not least, a nice bit of loving from the hubby, very good for that permanent glow!

The Things l couldn't live without are

1. Gatineau skin care products- smell beautiful and they do what it says.
2. foaming cleanser from the above - rids your blocked pores and leaves the skin soft as silk
3. solar oil - for soft subtle cuticles - and encourages growth.
4. Erdic - natural **** enhancing - the thought is cool but has anyone else used it?
5. lip ink by avon it lasts ages
6. cellulite cream a tiny tiny bit on your brow helps them grow again -no joke l shaved my eyebrows off for a dare when i was younger (and stupid) and only half grew back - now they are coming back - yipee
7.And the biggy is in the morning laugh/smile about something and it gets you ready for the day

Strange but True.

just thought of another, exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate then a splash of cold water.xxx

For me I use what my mum uses and she is 72 but looks in her 50's and it's nivea and we put Frankincense and Geranium oil in, it's prob just that I am naturly beautifull pmsl and don't need anything!!!!!!!!!!
hope you dont mind me stealing this recipe dawnie, if its tried and tested on your mum and it works, then sounds good to me :D

Smiler - have to say I haven't tried Erdic, I'm not sure if they're the one that was on TV recently for not doing what it says on the tin :D Did try QuickBust though and it seemed to make a difference, but ran out and haven't had the £££ to order more. Was gonna try 'The Perfect C' which Tara P-T has used, supposedly to good effect, but it more expensive. Can PM you the link for QuickBust if you like... :)

I couldn't live without my oats lol............ and no it's not that kind of oats LOL

When my son was little he suffered from bad excema, so my Mum told me about this tip.......28 years ago lol........
It worked a treat......... but he hates eating them even now he is nearly 29 lol...

Fill a stocking with Oats ,tie it up and then drop it in the bath, run the hot water first and let the oats swell up.....................
Makes the water lovely and soft and I still do it to this day, I have very dry skin in the winter, must have been the for runner of the bath bomb....... So I call it the sock bomb lol................
Then I finish it all off with a nice Solar Silk smothering xxxx
Thats my must have xxxx Oats and Solar Silk, how cheap is that lol

  1. Chanel Toffee Brume Lip Liner (my desert island must)
  2. Dermalogica Barrier Repair Cream (make up goes over it beautifully)
  3. Chanel Cream to Powder make-up
  4. Touch Eclait
  5. Lippety Split Gloss (all colour ways are gorgeous)
  6. Exfoliating Enzyme (Nimue)
  7. Solar Silk as body moisturizer - brilliant. I only like body cremes that smell of my perfume so do not like to wear very strong lotions - Solar Silk does the job and the smell dissipates quickly allowing your perfume to shine through!!
  8. Chanel blusher (they last years - I have had 3 for at least 10 years which makes it THE BEST VALUE for money - 10 years later! )
That's me done ;)

bimbogeri - thanks for your reply. That would be great if you pm me about the other one - never heard of them. l bet you need golden items to afford it - thanks again especially if it does work. That's what happened to me after 2 babies like l have said previously (in a very old thread) if l wanted a cleavage l would have to put a wonder bra on my bum!! :)

Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream....bet there has been a 'rush' on this product lately!!!

Where can you buy it from / how do you apply it.

I gave my mum a facial yesterday and used a collagen face mask (like a cut out fabric thing soaked in all manner of things ...inc collagen)

Skin looked amazing after.

Thanks

hiya, i had a look at this 8 hour cream, it was in Debenhams, but i dont know if it was the right one as it isnt a cream its like a gel, orange colour and really thick, almost like a wax...did i look at the wrong one ??? xx and if it is the right one, is it ok for your face, not too heavy or anything ??

not sure if someone already mentioned it, but this reminded me of that 'tip' that if you put heammorroid (sp?) cream on your face, it's really good (for tightening skin - getting rid of wrinkles, i think??!) Anyway, just tried it...!!:D

...feels tingly and a bit numb, not sure if i actually look much different tho - maybe I'll have to do a street poll, like they do on that programme; '10 years younger'...!

You know, I've heard the same about the hemmoroid cream, heard it's good if you have bags under your eyes and things like that...you guys think it would work for stretch marks??

I love the Liz Earle range too. Swapped to Virgin Vie but my skin never feels as clean or as moisturised so will be swapping back again. Just to let all you other Liz Earle fans know that QVC will have a Liz Earle Today's Special Value this Sunday (13th) and you normally get loads for your dosh.

I had permanent make up eyeliner done recently and OMG it's fab! Don't bother with mascara anymore unless I'm goign out as it makes me look like I have think lashes, when in fact I'm folliclely challenged in that area!!! I now want my lipliner done to give my little lips a bit of a pout look, with no trouts!!

I always have to wear blusher or I look ill. I got the HelenE goodie bag at Excel last year and I use the blusher from that which seems to be lasting forever.

And when I remember I wear a lip gloss, usually Clinique as most others feel really sticky.

VASELINE!!

If anyone could suggest a makeup remover product for really senstive skin, I'd be very grateful!! I've tried using Simple stuff and products for sensitive skin, but I came out in allergic reactions to all of them!! My eyes swell, and the skin around my eyes becomes blistered and swollen

:D

xxlaylaxx

Laystar have you tried AVENE extremely gentle cleansing lotion from Boots?? I Used to have skin that would react to everything under the sun, and then i found that... its almost like a gel water.... i guarantee you will have no probs... it says it for ex. sensitive very reactive skin. its about £8 for 200ml.. I def give it a go!!! its french. I too reacted badly to Simple stuff.. xx

My new updated list...
St Ives apricot scrub - it leaves my skin amazingly soft and glowing
Solar Oil - Need I say more?

Also my emergency kit in the car (especially if you get stuck in traffic): lip balm (I like MAC), solar oil, solar butter favour (excellent size), water free hand cleanser (in case I need to eat anything while I'm out!). I can't remember any more.

I love to mix a medium oatmeal and almond oil mixed together as a paste and use it as a body exfoliator - it makes your skin feel lovely and soft. You can also use brown sugar instead of the oatmeal. Another good tip is to put a quarter of a cup of honey into a lovely warm bath - yummy - feels divine - makes the bath smell lovely and your skin lovely and soft.
