For me:

Moisturiser: Nivea for my face & Scentsations for everywhere else

Clearasil: never had spots until I started doing nails, now a day of rebalances and I am covered in them :( Clearasil sorts it out better than anything else I've tried.

Minimal make-up, tidy eyebrows, some Touch Eclat under my eyes and my Juicy Tubes, I love my Juicy Tubes!

Again, my GHDs, couldn't live without them!

Some handy tips in this thread, might have to steal some :)

(I also carry at all times a bottle of lavender oil and a bottle of tea tree - they fix most things between them!!!)

HAHAHAHAHAHA i use tea tree and lavender for EVERYTHING!!!

Friends and clients always laugh at me because if they tell me theyve hurt themselves or they have a problem, i tell them to get to holland and barrat and get some lavender oil.

I had a client who picked her skin around her fingers REALLY badly. but with the application of gel overlays (which made the free edge 'blunt' so she couldnt pick) and daily use of solar oil and lavender her finger healed up by her first infill. I was amazed!!!!

My beauty essentials are

1) Virgin Vie perfect balance foundation - THE best foundation i have EVER used. i find it better than estee lauder double wear!! suits all skin types!!! Im SOOOOOO glad i found it!!! I think i will die if they ever stop making it! lol.

2)Virgin Vie perfect balance facial wash, toner and matte moisturiser - im oily and dry so this range balances me out completely. ive actually never had better skin!! :D

3)Solar oil, i use it EVERYWHRE even n my lips... i havnt died yet so im assuming its safe!!! lol.

Laystar have you tried AVENE extremely gentle cleansing lotion from Boots?? I Used to have skin that would react to everything under the sun, and then i found that... its almost like a gel water.... i guarantee you will have no probs... it says it for ex. sensitive very reactive skin. its about £8 for 200ml.. I def give it a go!!! its french. I too reacted badly to Simple stuff.. xx

Thanks, I will check that out!! :)

I've been using that new Johnson's Holiday Skin Moisturiser, it is brilliant!! After using it for 2 days I was already tanned and have had NO STREAKING!! I've been applying it in the morning and have stayed moisturised all day and evening, it's really brilliant magical stuff! And it's sold out everywhere in my town at the moment (I nabbed a bottle at Boots in Lakeside lol). Deffo recommended, especially for £4.99!!! :green:

xx

Against all beauty experts advice, I was my face with soap and really cold water. I have tried just about every moisturiser on the market and none of them seem to make too much difference to my skin. So you can always count on me to be using whatever is currently being advertised!! I don't wear foundation so soap seems to be adequate for my needs. I do use under eye creams, but again whatever is currently being advertised.

I couldn't live without Qtica Intense Hydrating cream for my hands - just love it and the smell.

i couldnt live without my mascara, max factor 2000 calarie (i think thats what its called:o ) it make my eyelashes really long & thick.
tweezers, 2 tidy up what would b 2 big bushes.
vo5 hot oils. they really moisturise my coloured hair.

I use .....

* Elemis SOS cream- Quite expensive but great on your face for reducing hangover redness or i put it on after plucking my eyebrows to make me look normal again.

* Vitamin E capsules - I use these as i am mid-treatment for tattoo removal. I break them open and rub in the liquid, as a nurse once recomended it to reduce scarring. - works great on scabs too if you get cut shaving.

* Porridge Oats (Cleopatra Style)!!!! * now i sound very strange..... I take a pop sock (or 1 foot of a laddered pair of tights. Fill with 1 cup of plain porridge oats, tie it around the bath taps and run a bath... Bathe in the milky water and pop sock and porridge bundle and a scrubber. Helps with dry skin (and gives my bloke a good laugh!)

OOoh, also use Lemons to get rid of "elephant" skin on elbows.

um i'll be quiet now before i make myself seem even more of a wierdo!!!!! :o

No. 1 -------------- 2-4 drops of SolarOil rubbed over my clean still slightly damp face has been my moisturiser for 15 years. EVERYONE coments on my skin and how clear and youthful it is. I believe it is this routine that is responsible for that. I also use it at night.

No. 2. Estée Lauder Eyelash Primer. Used before mascarra it makes my rather thin lashes look thick and lush without looking claggy.

No. 3. Channel Toffee Brun Lip liner!!

I can vouch for Gigi's fantastic skin, it really is incredible!!!

Now Ive used neat Almond on my face so why did I never twig to replacing it with SolarOil, packed with its extra goodies :smack:

I'll have to check if Samantha has a spare E.L Eyelash Primer going, lmao! :wink2:

'Claggy' .... now thats a new one for me, Geeg!

Ohhhhhhhh

it would have to be

1. Tinted moisturiser as its light and gives a bit of colour to my face. I use botanics at the mo.

2. Mascara and eyelash curlers, got long lashes but dead straight.

3. Cold spoons for my eyes if i've been out! :D

I always tell people i use oil of olay cause people always think i'm younger than i am, it was taking the biscuit though when i got chatted up by a 14 year old when i worked in the video shop last year and i was preggie!!!! He thought i was 21 very worrying

This is difficult ~ only allowed, 3 here goes

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - FAB does exactly what it says it will and I love the satisfaction of seeing my 'face' on the muslin cloth.

Nars Blush in Orgasm - the best ever glow!

Permed and Tinted Eyelashes - I have long lashes but they are quite straight this just makes me look awake. When I wear mascara on top it my eyelashes look amazing, I get asked quite a lot if they are falsies.

Okay going to change my products since I have started using the Nimue products I am a total convert, so my three hero products from them:

Exfoliating Enzyme with pineapple and papaya extracts it is their "PACMAN" product that goes along and eats all the dead cells. As an exfoliator it is fab as it's totally smooth so nasty bits getting stuck in your hair.

Active Lotion, which transforms your face overnight and you have the smoothest skin in the world, with its high concentration of AHAs and humectants it exfoliates, lightens, brightens and moisturises the skin with increased cell turnover.

Hydro Lip therapy is way more than a lip balm, it's just plain lush! Your lips feel fab for hours after you have applied it.

That's it for me!

You can buy it in a salon that uses Nimue or (if you are a beauty therapist) you can have training and purchase the products! If you are near Sassy, buy it from her - amazing stuff!!!
